The cathartic process of making music can heal and help in uncertain times. “Hope” is a word often used and needed more than ever and this release pays tribute to it. Moreover, these songs helped clear my mind through their slow formation while pondering on a Buddhist phrase; ‘There’s Strength In Contemplation’. The tracks were also recorded with a transition in my sound, moving towards classical sounding compositions, using piano chords in the same key to structure the tracks. From there the other sounds flowed in and were a pleasure to put together.
